A little preparation ahead of time helps us get started quickly and ensures a perfect finish.
What to Do Before Our Team Arrives #
We take care of the spraying and detailing, but you can help by preparing the space in advance. Here’s how:
- Clear Out All Drawers: Please empty all kitchen or bathroom drawers where refinishing is planned. Don’t worry, you can leave everything inside your cabinets!
- Choose Your Colour or Finish in Advance: If you haven’t selected a colour or sheen yet, let us know—we’ll help guide you through options to match your space and vision.
- Clean Surfaces Lightly: A gentle wipe of exterior cabinet surfaces helps remove surface dust or grease. We’ll handle the full prep and sanding—this just gives us a head start. Cleaning muck and build up off your doors will help make the process faster and smoother
- Clear the Countertops: Please move small appliances, dish racks, or décor sitting on counters. We’ll be masking and protecting all adjacent areas and our work is easiest when the counters are clear of day to day items.
- Make Space for Equipment: If possible, leave space near the cabinets or in an adjoining room where we can set up tools and protective materials.
- Secure Kids & Pets: For everyone’s safety, please keep pets and young children away from the work area while we’re on-site.
What Happens Next #
On the day of service, we carefully remove your cabinet doors and drawer fronts and take them off-site to our refinishing warehouse. While they’re being professionally sprayed in-house, we’ll refinish the cabinet boxes on-site using clean, dustless methods and advanced masking to protect your home. Once everything is cured and ready, we return to reassemble and reinstall your upgraded cabinetry.
